Mount Zion Training Centre: A New Haven for Learning and Reflection

MZTC’s core mission is to raise and equip Christian leaders who will impact the church and society

Mount Zion Training Centre (MZTC), owned by the Internal Province of West Africa (IPWA), is a Christian retreat and training facility located in the serene community of Mothaim, Sierra Leone. Established as a haven for spiritual renewal and leadership growth, MZTC provides a peaceful environment where individuals, church groups, and organizations can gather for retreats, workshops, seminars, and conferences. Beyond offering modern facilities for accommodation, weddings, and special events, the Centre’s primary mission is to empower Christian leaders with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation needed to make a lasting impact in their communities. With a blend of hospitality, training, and faith-driven vision, MZTC continues to stand as a beacon of excellence in equipping leaders and fostering transformation across Sierra Leone and beyond.

At MZTC, we welcome learners from all backgrounds, creating an environment where everyone is valued and respected. Our inclusive approach ensures equal opportunities for growth, learning, and participation, fostering a community built on diversity, unity, and mutual respect.

Responsible

At MZTC, we cultivate a culture of responsibility—towards learning, faith, and community. Our students are encouraged to take ownership of their growth, demonstrate integrity in their actions, and contribute positively to society. Responsibility is at the heart of developing leaders who can be trusted to make a lasting impact.

Respectful

At MZTC, we believe respect is the foundation of healthy relationships and effective learning. We foster an environment where every individual is valued, voices are heard, and differences are embraced. By practicing respect, our community grows stronger in unity, understanding, and mutual support.

At MZTC, we value teamwork and shared learning. Our collaborative approach encourages students, facilitators, and the wider community to work together, exchange ideas, and support one another. Through collaboration, we build stronger connections and achieve greater impact.
